About Me

I'm currently building across AI safety evaluation in LLMs and physical AIs, mechanistic interpretability, and AI4Astro. My research interest lies in understanding how models work internally (layer-wise) and how this information can advance our progress in AI, while making sure they're safe to deploy in real-world settings. And most of the time, I'm very obsessive and competitive about learning and solving things that I really enjoy (especially in research).

Did AI research under multiple frontier labs after finding out I don't like chemistry; mainly working on mechanistic interpretability, NLP and AI4Science projects, also published a few papers in top conference workshops
Founded MYResearchGuide & Malaysian Science Scholar's Programme as a sidequest — an initiative to help Malaysian students discover science research opportunities, backed by 40+ researchers from top institutions (Ivy League and Oxbridge) to frontier industry labs (Meta AI and YC-backed startups), sponsored by multiple companies/institutions including MathWorks (MATLAB)

2025

Olympiads

Won 3rd and 2nd place in Malaysia Astronomy Olympiad selection rounds (w/ 3 months of prep) → represented Malaysia in IOAA and IAO → helped out as a problem setter now
Started a science olympiad tutoring platform (olyprep.io) on Discord as a side business, hitting $10K USD MRR within 2 months & 50+ students

2023 - 2024

Biochemistry research

Got into my school science research program, developed a nanopesticide using biowaste materials to eradicate red flour beetles; competed in Malaysia ISEF national selection final (Top 25)

Esports

Peaked top 200 in Apex Legends (competed competitively in Asia region), Ascendant in Valorant, 5 digit in osu!, Conqueror in PUBG Mobile
Spent ~500 hours finishing the entire Legend of Zelda series before Breath of the Wild

Still a kid lmao

Was grinding Roblox, mainly Arsenal (~400 hours) + learned Kali Linux as a side hobby + "jailbreaked" multiple phones in my house to overclock their performance lol
